A Little Lizard：これは、17年ほど前にTESOLを勉強していたときの Teaching and Testing ESL Reading and Writing というクラスでの課題です。「Journal Response」という課題で、英語で日記を書くというものでした。合計で3週間ほど書きました。わりとおもしろいことも書いているので、ぜひ読んでみてください。

A Little Lizard
Several years ago, when I was still working for my old company, I heard a scream from one of the neighboring cubicles. Some workers rushed there. It turned out to be that a coworker had found a tiny lizard in her purse.
I also had such an encounter at the ladies’ room. When As I was going to enter one of the compartments, into a stall, something brownish was waiting for me on the floor. I thought my heart would stop. Recovering from the goose bumps that I got, I tried to get closer to the lizard. It didn’t move at all. I yielded the place to it and used another compartment. stall.
I now wonder if the unusual bathroom visitor was the same one that surprised my coworker. I thought it was kind of cute in its own way…
